Work Day

The VC Raceway has planned a work day to make several improvements to the kart facility. They are going to place traffic lights at each end of the track, bury a water line for watering the track, build an exit off the track seperate from the entrance onto the track and pour a concrete pad for the scales.

Anyone interested in helping make our "playground" better are invited/encouraged to attend. The date has been set for March 31st starting at 8:00 a.m. with a rain date of April 7th.

try to get them to take the wood off the top of the scales. it would make it alot easier to role onto scales. theres not enough miniwedges running to leave it on there. i will call paul when i get a chance.

Some have asked what tools to bring to the work party. I have been told shovels and stiff garden rakes would be a good idea.

More ideas for tools to bring...hammer, portable drill, posthole digger, hand saw, pick, spud bar, etc.
