Default MINIWEDGE CONCERN

With all the attention on making sure the miniwedges are "legal", it's sad that the kids don't get anything but a "ribbon" to exchange for a hotdog! Last week they didn't even get a ribbon. All the other classes get money, and during week #1 we were told that the trophys' were forgotten but would be given out the next week.....(that didn't happen). The kids should be respected enough to get something in return for all their efforts...just my opinion!

I remember when I was a kid it was a hell of a thrill to be allowed to race my bicycle around the track let alone a mini latemodel. I wasnt allowed to race competitively until I was 18 as well. I guess things are different now but I would be glad that you have a track open and close to race at like Midway and that you are spending great quality time with your kids and family;
who cares about a prize at the end. But this is only my 2 cents on the matter!

Default trophies

I am glad they have a place to race and have fun. and I was going to talk to the promoters this past saturday after the races to see what I can do to help or what needed done to at least get the top 3 or 5 trophies for each night and also get them for the previous weeks.and your right it is good family time for the families but there is alot of money and time put into there cars and about every mini wedge driver ask me every week if they will get trophies which I told them i dont know yet. I will get with the promoters this week hopefully by thursday and figure out what I need to do to get this done.I dont want tostep on anyones toes but i will do what I can to make everyone happy and keep this track open and the best track around

I agree with morris- whats a $4.00 trophy to each kid-$20 to get in and race-I think they would be happier with a trophy than a hot dog- I dont feel they should be racing for money, but, a small trophy to show their friends what they have done would make them feel good.
10 karts=$200
10 trophys=$40
this is just JMO

this company has a lot of different trophys and im sure they would do quantity orders if contacted dirrect

Were sorry for the mistake in the scoring. Im looking into why it was written down this way . Ill fix it as soon as I get some clarification from the score keepers . Ill see them at Musky tomorrow night . Ill fix the points and the results page just as soon as I get why it happened .

We all make mistakes from time to time and Im sure that there was one made here so please be patient and give me a little time to look into it

Thanks for bringing it up and Im on it .

Good Luck this weekend!!
