Yea I think that might have been me that talked about the no rainouts. What dumba$$%# thing to say! Heres my payback for that remark, no racing and no electric.
So I went to Freemont last night for the last Speedweek show only to get back to Midway at 3 am to see lights on from Crooksville south and my neighbors lights on, I thought Cool ,electrics on. I went the concession stand first to check the genrator and found I had lights but no recepticle outlets, damn... freezers stay on the generators. Because the track has 5 electric meters and bills I knew this was not good. We have no electric at the house, bill #1. none in the garage, bill #2 .Lights only in the concession stand, bill #3. None in the infeild which powers the other half of the concession stand, bill #4 But, I CAN light the pit shed and pit parking area! Bill #5. I think I'll take the fridge and TV to the pit shed and turn up the window A/C , turn on the pit lights and crank up the P.A system and talk to the empty pit area!L.O.L.! I talked to my neighbor who explained the the county road next to the track is the North/ South deviding line for the electric, it just so happens that part of the track is on one side while the rest is on the other....confused yet? Did I mention the house has a New Lex addess and the track is Crooksville? Don't even get me started about the 2 water bills.... L.O.L.!....Phil |
