Default Fire Suit Questions

I am buying a new fire suit for my husband. We have never owned one before, so any tips on brands, price, fits, and where is the best place to buy one are welcome. Also if there is anything I am missing. Thanks!

Poske has a huge selection and a good price. Thats where I went to get my suite when I ran the big cars. Jegs have economical suites too but it depends on what you want. Single or double layer 1 or 2 piece. I like 2 piece; double layer better so you can take the top off in between races and keep it clean if your working on the car! The double layer is a little more uncomfortable in the summer but if you are knocked out and there is a fire you get more seconds of protection! Thats well worth the money! I also had Nomex under garmets as well. At the time I bought the brand FINISH LINE double layer 2 piece.

I always asked myself how much is my safety worth to me and my family.

Good Luck and be safe!! Jake
