Default Aug 4th quick results

Rickey Williams won the $4k Eaton-Childers King of the Ring. Tim Dohm was 2nd, Keith Barbara was 3rd, Corey Conley & Z Dohm followed (I think).
High quality field! Hawkins, Benedum, Moran, McGill, Wilmoth, Redman Jr, etc. were a part of the stout field.
Edge crate LM mains went to Daniel Hill (the make up feature, which was a dandy!) and Shawn Jett.
Mike Conkle won his first 'Bullring' feature of the season in the TSMA Hot Mod main. Final turn scramble for position saw Travis Thomas, Curtis Watson & Kenny Isner finish among the top 5.
Jeff Fornash won the Mod-Lite finale.
Track was smooth and multi-grooved again, with guys like Williams and Dohm running the high line and Moran and others cat-fishing the bottom.
No races next weekend due to the fair. This Tuesday the Hot Mods, Mini-Wedges and Mod-Lites race and on Wednesday night it's the Edge crates and 4 cylinders. $6 entrance to fair allows you free GA seating for races. Pit passes are an additional $10.

Great racing tonight at the bull ring. I dont know who was in the #16 late model but that car should not have been on the track. How in the world did he even get in the race. He was lapped 4 times in his heat race. Finally they had to through the caution in the feature to get him off the track before he caused a reck. The leaders lapped him in the first 3 laps of the feature. I know everyone has a right to race, but if your getting lapped every 3 laps and cant stay out of the way you should find a different hobby or move down a few classes.

Actually what happened was Freddie Carpenter was light at the scales. He was dqed in his heat in which he finished second. That moved the 16 into a transfer spot finishing sixth in the heat.
