I am helping to put on a special memorial race at PPMS for my friends dad who passed away this week. We are trying to get some donations whether it be gift certificates, race products, donations to the race winnings, ect from companies for the race on August 25, 2012. WE HAVE ABOUT 1 WEEK TO PUT THIS SPECIAL RACE TOGETHER. Please let me know if your company is able to help us out in any way. You can see the post in this link as we try to put this race together in about a week. http://racestud.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47453
Thank you. Bryan Horvath ATTENTION PURE STOCK RACE TEAMS!! Major update! Spoke with Matt Miley. This will now be a Sportsman Showdown event starting at $700 to win, $100 to start PLUS the lap bonuses I already spoke of! AND it will be an open tire rule (not just Hoosier) The winner of this race will most likely walk away with over $1000 dollars. I have been overwhelmed with support today. I will update the purse once I have time to total it up. I really appreciate everyone's kind words about my Dad. Let's make this a special race. Spread the word!

The race is held right up the road at PPMS. If your car is legal there, we welcome you to attend the special race. It is an open tire rule. Please read the information in the link below as I'm just trying to help get the word out for my friend. Thank You!

Just as an FYI, this class is more like a street stock class these days, close to the Super Sports that run at 250.
Good paying race for the class though, I know they got a good paying purse through the field. It will be at least $100 to start the feature, so take some gear out for the big track and come on up! |

Teams,
Just wanted to confirm The Ed Laboon Sportsman 17 will pay $1,017 to win, $100 to start, $100 tow money! I will give the updated purse breakdown as soon as I confirm the checks and cash I will collect the next few days. I will increase the purse through the top 17 cars as much as I can depending on the sponsorship totals. There will also be an additional $17 per lap for the leader, so if someone leads flag to flag they will walk away with an additional $289, or a total of $1,306!!! Hard charger will pay $100. Each heat winner will receive $17 also. More contingencies to come. Again, this is an open tire rule event, no entry fees, PPMS rules. No excuses. Get down to PPMS for a great payout and very special memorial for my Dad next Saturday 8/25.
