Exclamation Videos

I have a old video of Jim Dunn, It was taped in the early 70'S at muskingum county speedway, back when muskingum county was a half mile. My teacher Mr. Greulick at the Mid_East Carrear and Technology Centers is who has the tape. He was good friends with jim, he also worked with jim while jim worked at the vocational school! He taped him running on the track, and also interviewed him, also the koolest part of the video is Jim took him for a ride to end the interview! To make a long story short, this movie is about and half hour long and is on a half inch video tape, it is real to real, but is not a 8mm like most have on real to real. This is the same as your VHS's but is on a real! The problem with this tape is that i can not find a player to play it. I found one player the Crooksville High School that had not played in a while, after all the excitment of finding a player, the video of the player would not work, but the audio would, but the motor quit working before we could listen to it all! This video has not been watch and would be realy exciting to watch, if anyone has one of these players that they think works, or know of some one that has one any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Jordan Riggs

Below is a link to what the tape player looks like and what it is, you had to carry the player "suitcase" with the camera.

jordan,

did you try WHIZ tv and talk with the technical department- they might have something in the storage room- I think they would be helpful for a piece of history to be preserved

your welcome- I would like to see it my self- I have a video on dvd of the 1982 DWC at pensboro with an interview of Jim Dunn before the A feature- complete with heat races, B-main and A-main - Jim Dunn was driving the #8 car there, don t know the history why, but, I'll bring it by Terrys garage when the weather breaks.
