You go prep the track if you think it's that easy.... I bet I'd be laughing my ass off cause you ppl don't understand how much effort goes into it and y'all would make fools of your self. It's back to life !!!! There is racing in th Ohio valley and st clairsville. It's been awhile,,, give it time lady and gentleman. It don't all happen in one weekend or night. Patients patients patients !!!
First of all, it's not their second night, they used to run weekly years ago. Secondly, I was there all day and they didn't put any effort into the track prep because they don't have any equipment. If you don't have a disk and run-in vehicles it is impossible to put effort into track prep. The sprint show is going to be dangerous, don't look for things to get any better unless they put somebody else in charge of track prep.

Exclamation !!!

Ummm I believe it is there second show for awhile by the way just to set things straight! And that s the reason why the track isn't there... Meaning it's just dirt and no grooves, ya I know they ran weekly yes ago. And they will eventually get equipment and run in trucks... Like I said, it dOnt happen over night, you can't go out and buy tractors, disks and rakes in one nIght. It's called gradually improving and making improvements! JMO!

bring in some southern clay dirt and watch this track really start to take off with the additions of equipment and a few layers of clay dirt. yes this track is old but with it not being touched in years its like having a baby gotta take care of it before it becomes something.

Default NO CLAY ?

J M O......
it looks like 95% of the clay is gone ?

It's always gonna be a dry, slick, hard, "1 groove track" That "blackens up" in 2 laps.

The "promoters" and "owners" need to make a decision to prepare the track for the dates they decided on.
Aint so hard to do, and they're drawing record crowds, compared to 1999 - 2003

That's pure brown dust bein' kicked up, not chunks of clay to the top, or "toolies"
The top is like running on fine powder

Very booooooooring for "race fans", and "frustrating" for the DRIVERS

For the few of you that say....."give em a chance"......
Just remember, at "one time" it had bite, and 3 wide racing, with cars pulling the right front comin outta 2..... ALL the way up the back chute !

Like I sed J M O ............... THANKS

I wasn't there Sunday, so I can't comment on the racing then. But... I do know that the reconfigured backstretch certainly makes it more difficult to pass. At just about every track I have ever been to that has a "sweeping"/continuously curving backstretch like that, it becomes all about momentum, thus (unfortunately) taking some of the actual side-by-side racing away.
