I don't think cars not going to the chute when called is exclusive to Tyler as most tracks have the problem at one time or another. I-77 does pretty good at keeping the show going most of the time. They call for us, line us up and when one heat or feature is over the next rolls out and if you aren't there, you have 2 laps and the green is given and you either hit the tail of the feature or run the consy.

Read the results and it's pretty hard to top the quality of the field of cars. No one has mentioned that the qualifications required extra time, especially since the infield was too wet to pull them in there and keep rolling rather than the one at a time way it had to be done.
With all of the complaining about track conditions elsewhere this past weekend, I'll take Tyler's "able to race top to bottom" track, 120+ cars and consis in every class and deal with the rare late night.
I guess Tyler is just held to a higher standard than most places.

Tyler wants to offer the best for your money and with the car counts there will be late nights and there will be early nights. They get it right well over 50% of the time on what they do. Its a track and driver thing for people not lining up most the time because one day they speakers will be loud and the drivers arent listening or be a hard to hear day and the drivers dont hear the call. The next couple weeks we will see decent car counts because of the modlite event this weekend and next weekend is the king of the ring. Prepare for late nights depending on cars and the weather.

At ppms we have a rule, if your not lined up when your heat is called and that heat is rolling on to the track, you start on the TAIL! Goes for heat and features.

I agree, it is the drivers responsibility to be lined up and ready to go when called, not the worker's job to told his spot or wait for him to come to the chute. Yes maybe if they start holding them responsible the show would move a little faster, but still all in all how can anyone get on here and complain about the quality of cars and the racing that Tyler gets? As I stated, we lived there and moved back to Ohio, the racing here is ok at best, miss Tyler. My son showed a friend of his youtube video of a race at Tyler and the kid was in amazed at the difference in the racing between here and Tyler. He couldn't believe the way even the mini wedges get around the track! That should say something for the Tyler County, don't downgrade them for the long nights, be proud that some people love the racing there over there home tracks/states!! I know I prefer it!!!! That alone should make you guys proud that people would prefer to travel to watch "the local guys" race over staying at their home tracks. I would damn sure be in my car every Saturday afternoon driving 2 1/2 hours to Tyler County Speedway, if I didn't have to work at 6am Sunday mornings!!!
