Renegade of Dirt Tour Going Back Where It All Began! Wayne Co Speedway & Hilltop Speedway Up Next!

(Middlebourne, WV) Renegade of Dirt Tour ready to take back to the place where it all began, Wayne Co. & Hilltop Speedway. The Renegades of Dirt have successfully completed six events this season but none boasted the car count in which Hilltop Speedway received on opening night May 5th,2012. The massive event laid the foundation for a great inaugural campaign on the 2012 “Breaking Ground Tour”. Fifty Four entries were present to see the start of what has now become the “hottest new thing in short track racing.” Wellsburg, WV's Lance Elson parked his #17e machine in the Renegade Victory Lane to etch his name in the record books as the first winner on the newly formed tour. The family owned mount currently sits in third place in the point standings and will look to repeat the scene that played out that inaugural night. However, with three months separating that race to this one; drivers are now looking to put that event in the rear view in preparation for the pair of events up next on the tour. August 3rd the tour will visit the Wayne Co. Speedway on Friday night for the make-up event in which rain cast dark skies over the first scheduled date for the 3/8 Orrville, OH dirt facility and halted that evenings racing action. Then the next night August 4th the open wheel warriors will once again roar to life for the second time at the Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, OH. The duo of dirt modified events will both feature a revamped $1500 to win, $200 to start Renegade of Dirt purse in which drivers making both features are guaranteed at least $400 for their weekend efforts. Drivers To Watch:

Bobby Kitchens; Kitchens has been red hot on the tour and has steadily watched over the entire field from the top of the points standings throughout most of 2012. The Columbus, OH driver pilots the Two Brothers Motorsports entry and has yet to win on the Renegade of Dirt Tour event this season but continues to rack up top five finishes. However, the driver has been in Wayne Co. Speedway victory lane this season and will look to re-visit that on Friday night.

Lance Elson; Elson set a rapid pace on the field back on May 5th in which the green flag was waved on the Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour. Leading all 25 laps Elson grabbed the huge $1500 dollar victory in front of a sold out crowd but has yet to repeat in 2012 on the tour and his early season victory makes him an obvious front runner to find victory lane once again.

Jesse Wisecarver; Wisecarver is no newcomer to Buckeye State “Bullrings”. The man they call the “Outlaw” has been terrorizing these parts for many' a year. Wisecarver is a local fan favorite and a Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour victory would be a giant win to add to his storied career. You better bet when this here tour rolls into to town that hot-shoe will have his machine locked, loaded, and ready to duel.

Wayne County Speedway: Located in beautiful Orrville, OH the 3/8 mile dirt oval is home to great racing action every Friday night. Track activity is set to get underway when the gates open at 4:00pm, and racing takes over the speedway at 7:45pm.
