We are finalizing plans for the MICK ORSICH MEMORIAL LATE MODEL OPEN to be held on Saturday September 17th. This special event, held in memory of our former track manager and flagman, will see the rules opened up to allow Super Late Models to compete alongside our regular steel block class.

In addition to the "normal" program, there will also be a $500 "winner take all" Late Model "King Of The Hill". This will be a 16-car single elimination bracket, with qualifying based on heat race finishes. (For example, the top two from each heat if we run 7 heat races.) Two provisional starting spots will also be used... 1) Eric Moore, by virtue of his previous KOTH win on June 25th, and 2) the highest driver in the Hummingbird Speedway Limited Late Model point standings who did not otherwise qualify for the KOTH.

And... lap sponsors are being taken for both the Late Model and Street Stock features. We will also be raising funds for the Hahne Cancer Center through a Chinese Auction the night of the event.
